Psychological Counseling and Guidance

Psychological Counseling and Guidance encompasses all the services provided to individuals to help them achieve self-realization, solve problems, make realistic decisions, adapt to their surroundings, and understand themselves.

In this context, our aim is to monitor students' cognitive, social, and emotional development, support students, families, and teachers in problem-solving, and contribute to students' growth as individuals who know and express themselves, are happy, healthy, empathetic, creative, aware, enjoy learning, and can apply what they have learned to life.

Student-Oriented
Activities.

Application of Various Scales, Tests, and Documents for Individual Problem Areas.

To better understand students and provide effective support, tests and inventories are administered to identify problem areas (academic, social, emotional).

School Adjustment / Orientation Studies

The activities conducted to facilitate students' adaptation process to school, and to provide social and emotional support.

Individual Meetings / Student Assessment Studies.

Individual meetings involve the process of resolving any life issues that are challenging for the individual, in collaboration with the client.

Guidance Activities / Seminars at the Classroom Level

The work conducted focuses on academic, career, and socio-emotional development areas tailored to the age groups and needs of the students.

Career Planning Activities.

The administration of tests and documents to determine students' interests and talents during high school years. Alongside student assessment studies, activities aimed at enhancing students' ability to make career decisions based on their interests, talents, and expectations, including collaboration with domestic and international university counselors within the scope of preference counseling.

Face-to-face and/or online appointments conducted via appointments to address the social, emotional, and academic needs of the student during their developmental process.

Face-to-face or online seminars, conducted in single or multiple sessions, focusing on topics deemed necessary (academic, social, emotional) for information sharing.

School-Oriented

Activities

It covers informative and directive activities (seminars, meetings, bulletins) conducted for teachers and, as needed, school staff, addressing the needs related to students' developmental processes, either in a single session or multiple sessions.
