Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 Information Notice
In order to protect individuals’ fundamental rights and freedoms—particularly the right to privacy—during the processing of personal data, and to determine the obligations of natural and legal persons who process such data, Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) has been enacted.
As Uçar Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Unitedwords), acting as the Data Controller, we hereby inform you in accordance with Article 10 of the Law, titled “Obligation of the Data Controller to Inform,” regarding the processing of your personal data.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Information Notice:
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Personal Data Protection Law (“KVKK”): The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette on April 7, 2016.
Data Processor: A natural or legal person who processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller, based on the authority granted by the Data Controller.
Data Subject: Refers to the natural person whose personal data is processed. This includes, by way of example, individuals employed by our organization (personnel), customers, suppliers, and other individuals whose personal data we process.
Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.
Methods of Collection of Personal Data and Legal Grounds
Your personal data may be collected in various ways (including applications submitted to the Company, various contracts, the Website, job applications, closed-circuit camera systems, etc.) through verbal, written, and electronic means.
Personal data collected based on the legal grounds specified in this Information Notice may be processed and shared within the scope of the personal data processing conditions set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
For the purposes of conducting and managing the Company’s activities; establishing necessary communications; ensuring compliance with applicable legislation; maintaining corporate and administrative management; carrying out performance evaluations; ensuring the security of our systems and applications; implementing required technical and administrative measures; providing products or services in a reliable and uninterrupted manner; delivering products and services to customers in the most effective way; ensuring customer satisfaction; carrying out promotional, marketing, advertising, and other related activities regarding products and services; and fulfilling contractual obligations, the Company may directly or indirectly obtain, record, store, process, amend, or reorganize identity information, address information, contact information, and other personal data, including special categories of personal data, and may share such data with relevant persons and institutions where required under applicable legislation.
Recipients of Personal Data and Purposes of Data Transfer
Pursuant to Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, your personal data may be shared, within the scope of the purposes stated above, with third parties deemed necessary for the continuation of the activities of Uçar Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Unitedwords), including public institutions, suppliers, business partners, legally authorized persons, and, where required by applicable legislation, transferred domestically or internationally.
Retention of Personal Data
Your personal data may be retained for the periods required by the purposes of processing. In the absence of any other justification or legal grounds and/or where contractual obligations cease to exist, personal data for which the purposes of processing no longer apply shall be deleted, destroyed, and/or anonymized.
Necessary security measures are implemented by Uçar Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Unitedwords) in order to ensure the protection of your personal data and to prevent unlawful processing.
Rights of Data Subjects and the Exercise of These Rights
As data subjects, your requests regarding the rights listed below shall be evaluated and concluded by Uçar Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Unitedwords) as soon as possible and, in any event, within thirty (30) days.
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, as a data subject, you have the following rights:

To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data,

To object to the occurrence of a result against you arising from the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems,

To request compensation for damages in case you suffer losses due to unlawful processing of your personal data,

To request notification of third parties to whom personal data has been transferred in case your personal data is corrected, deleted, or destroyed.
