  • International University Planning for Grade 9 and 10 Students

Building a strong profile for international university applications is not something that can be achieved only through the work done in the final years of high school. The real difference comes from thoughtful, balanced, and long-term steps taken early in the high school journey. In this webinar hosted by Unitedwords, we will explore how 9th and 10th grade students can build a stronger roadmap for both their academic and personal development. We will also provide parents with a broader perspective on what to pay attention to during the early stages of this process. Date, Time and Registration 📅 Date:  Wednesday, 29 April 2026 🕒 Time:  8:00 PM - 9:00 PM 📍 Platform:  Zoom – Participation is free of charge, registration is required. Please note that this webinar will be conducted in Turkish. Click here to register for the webinar. Webinar Content Some of the topics that will be covered in this webinar include: Why 9th and 10th grades are critical, The key planning steps that should be taken during these years, The importance of discovering interests and guiding them in the right direction, Building awareness of goals, The role of non-academic work in the application process, The contribution of artistic, athletic, and social activities, Academically supportive activities, When to begin language development and standardized test preparation, The importance of the early years for application essays and recommendation letters. Why This Webinar? Standing out in a student’s application is not determined by grades alone. It also depends on the academic curiosity, interests, productivity, responsibility, and sense of direction that develop over time. That is why thoughtful planning in the early years helps students understand themselves better, use their time more effectively, and move through high school with a stronger, more balanced, and more distinctive profile.

  • Pre-Applications for Unitedwords Development Support Are Now Open

Pre-Applications for Unitedwords Development Support Are Now Open At Unitedwords, we have never seen education merely as a placement process. For us, education is the academic and personal development journey that a student builds over time. With this perspective, we created Unitedwords Development Support , a programme designed to contribute USD 10,000  each year to one student’s educational journey. This support does not focus solely on a particular outcome. It is designed to recognise a student’s academic development over time, sense of responsibility, and conscious effort to shape their educational journey. Depending on the student’s chosen higher education path, the support may be used either in Türkiye or abroad . The first implementation period of Unitedwords Development Support will begin in 2027 . Pre-applications, however, are open throughout the year. Applications are submitted electronically. The pre-application process is not limited to final-year students; students in Grades 9, 10, and 11  may also apply. This approach is intended to identify students’ development journeys at an earlier stage and to frame the evaluation process within a longer-term perspective. You can find detailed information and access the pre-application form through the link below. Application Process and Program Details Within the scope of Unitedwords Development Support, the evaluation process considers academic progress, the student’s approach to planning their educational journey, and their long-term goals together.

  • A Journey Built Early

Unitedwords Development Support is designed for students who consciously build their educational journey from an early stage. We believe that the educational process is not shaped only at the final stage when university choices are made, but much earlier. Academic development, discovering interests, taking responsibility, and developing consistent study habits are the result of a process that unfolds over time. For this reason, Unitedwords Development Support does not focus solely on a single moment of achievement. Instead, it reflects an approach that values how students plan their educational journey and the long-term effort they demonstrate along the way. Our aim is to encourage students to build their educational path consciously and sustainably from the early stages of their academic development.

  • Unitedwords Development Support
